Happy July 14th

July 14th...

• Is a big day in France. Also known as Bastille Day. This evening I attended the special broadcast of my friend Mathieu -- all about the history of the storming of the Bastille. It was quite interesting. Mathieu is pictured above with the Eiffel Tower in the background -- simply breath taking! If you see one of our many French JTV chatters or broadcasters -- say hello and wish them a happy July 14th.
  

• In a semi related story -- two members of the French Lifecasting community will soon broadcast from the foot of the Eiffel Tower. I am so excited about this and will notify you here on the dates of this very shortly!

• Today is also a special day for our Bot Boi -- Flynn aka creator of the JTV super chat bot -- WhoGotMyLighter! Happy Birthday Flynn! Stop in and say thanks and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Meet George...

• LOL -- this is George a new broadcaster on JTV host of the BadPuppet channel! Seriously -- if you get the chance favorite this channel so you know when he casts. It is very funny. I am sorry I don't have any info on the puppeteer or owner of the channel but I think you will like the adult humor he provides.
  

New 'do how do you do...

• Awww as announced last evening on Twitter -- Krystyl changed her hair color. We weren't sure what the new color would be -- simply that she was no longer a blonde. Sooo look how our Model of JTV looks now. Still as pretty as hot as ever!! Very nice K XXOO

Mr. Brian...

• I have a new friend on JTV and he broadcasts the TV show Heroes! COOL -- stop in Mr. Brian's channel and watch!

• Now we are talking - 30+ Old Timers! LOL I joined!

• Awwww how cool! Music Lovers Anonymous this is a network for people who have music players on their profile page. I do -- so I joined!

• Hmm - The Men's Room Network -- this is the WINNING (not) network description "dudes are welcome ( nothing sexual) bitches can watch my body guard workout" how many JTV MENS are gonna join this fun sounding group?

• So, if you know me even slightly -- you know I love all celebrations -- all special days -- especially the most special day someone can have -- BIRTHDAYS! • By luck I found this channel tonight and I can't leave it. Although tattoos aren't for me I think they are a very interesting art form. Look at their highlights , sign up for their events and check out the slide show on their profile page. They are extremely easy going and stop to ask the chat room if anyone has a question. I love it!!!!
  

Hair she is.....

• In a wonderful -- sweet gesture Leslie (Yomama8929)cut 10" from her beautiful mane to donate to Locks of Love. What a sweet thing to do -- I wouldn't expect anything different from her though.

• I think the aim of this network is to approach JTV about some policy changes. Their current subject is asking JTV to change the broadcast age to 18+ Join today and voice your opinion! Change JTV TOS Network.

• Over 50 chatters or casters. This network is giving the 100's of Jonas Brother's networks a run for their money. Be a dear -- if you know anyone that can join this network -- please gently tell them about it. I think it is a grand idea! So far just one member! :-(

Happy 4th

HAPPY 4th of July!!!!!

• I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!
  

Who broke JTV?

• Last week just after Tia's broadcast on the Help Channel JTV broken and was down for the count -- for several hours. So frustrating! It seems that all of the Frat Boys were out of town and weren't able to help fast enough -- or so the rumors stated.

• Man oh man -- Last Friday night -- JTV had the potential of being a wild and crazy place -- due to the impending holiday today. But that wasn't the case. From what I noticed in tweets and in Skype -- several folks made due by visiting their friends on out sites.

• Did you know that the Help channel still was working even thought JTV was down? Well it worked for some people -- it didn't work for me. I could only get the main page to work for me.
  

• Suggestions for the future: Maybe a JTV staff person can post something on JTV main page with the status updates of JTV. I thought it would be a short outage. I waited up until 5am hoping to get some info from JTV site to finish yesterday's blog post post. I didn't find out about the HELP channel until 4:30am. Also -- if casters or chatters want to post info in Twitter so their fans can follow them to other venues. I didn't find out until today that friends were on Ustream!

Announcements....

• My friend Scorpionsting (pictured above with his pet duck) is planning a special subject broadcast for this coming Friday -- July 11th at 4pm EST. The theme will be Madonna. Please stop in and request or listen to you favorite Madonna songs!

Twitter Treats....

• I think just about everyone uses Twitter now and if you don't get with it!

• I use twhirl as my Twitter client but I used to use Twitteriffic and I loved it.

• My secret guilty pleasure is reading the Secret Tweets on Secret Tweet. Okay -- and yes I leave secret tweets too. Secret Tweet is anonymous twitter posting! Say it with me -- "JUICY!" plus the creator of the service is a JTVer! Double win! To follow the juice here is their Twitter Account. Thank me later!

• Send Twitter Gifts -- okay I discovered this on vacation a few weeks ago from another Twitterer -- I went crazy the first day of discovery -- LOL. But there are so many cute virtual gifts you can send to people on your follower list.
  

New Blog....

• WOW I love the looks of this blog so far. I know it will do well. They also have a twitter account and a CuteGirlsof JTV Network! Finally a positive blog that will showcase the wonderful ladies of JTV.

• During a special late evening broadcast RNO showed off his new 'do. WOW -- it is short -- but ohhhh so cute and sassy!

• Krystyl is asked constantly for fan merchandise -- if you ever visit her channel -- you know this --- so to answer her pleading fans -- she finally created some KrystylTv items. Check them out here -- K's CafePress. It is about time she did this!

• So what do you think of the new NETWORK feature on JTV? Are they working for you? I love the concept -- but not much happening on 95% of the ones I belong to. There is a potential for them to be nice -- but I am not too sure of how they are to work. We will see I guess. Here are some I belong to that at least sound good...

• Great Tech Crunch article that talks about JTV pulling ahead of many other LIVE web video services. Check the charts out! Fantastic!

• JTV might be down -- and I waited now 4 hours in hopes it would come back up -- but I just found a gem of a Tweet in Twitter. In May I sat through I swear HOURS of watching Patrick of LifeDoc on the day of his graduation from College. Yep -- I said hours. He was casting the whole entire event. It was exciting at times because I was anticipating the big moment and looking forward to getting a screen cap or so I could blog it. As I sat there it was fun to reminisce about my own college graduations. I really don't know what I was thinking -- because Pat was filming this -- so it was his viewpoint -- and I really never got the good screen cap I had envisioned -- of Pat accepting his diploma -- instead I just got some good pics of the man presenting it! But just now -- at 3am -- I decided to check Twitter one last time before bedtime -- okay -- so actually I wanted to post a nasty message AGAIN about JTV being down... but instead I found this wonderful -- cute You Tube video of Patrick and friend (no not Sponge Bob) on their graduation day. New Community Director...

• Meet Tia Marie! She is the new community director. She has a channel and also can be seen frequently surfing the JTV channels. I believe she is also the person who answers the questions asked in "info@justin.tv" but not sure. She seems very hands on and very friendly. Check her out sometime and welcome her to JTV.

• It is rumored that Phil lost his position with Justin.tv and Tia accepted that position.

JTV You Tubers...

• This is my friend Cindy! Ahhh I love her show each Saturday. It sure soothes but yet refreshes me. I wish more people would attend her weekly shows. Cindy takes singing requests and her show is usually the highlight of my Saturday night.
  

• Cindy is just one of the many JTV broadcasters who also has a YouTube following. Cindy has created some videos of her singing some popular songs. What I love about Cindy's show on Saturday night is that she tells her visitors which of her songs were the most popular on You Tube that week. How cool! This is Cindy's YourTube account: Lacinda1. Sooooo I broadcasted on Sunday night. Sorry you missed it -- it was great! LOL I do want to thank all my friends that showed up --and those who couldn't make it to my impromptu broadcast! Special thanks to my friend Mathieu for helping me figure out Cam Twist and the whole broadcasting thing! XXOO

Anyways -- during the end of my broadcast I shared some pictures I have taken both in real life and also on Jtv. It is so easy to snap pics with a MAC so I do frequently.

I was digging deep into my Mac files -- I found some great pics of former and present friends and broadcasters that I had forgotten about. For some reason or another -- these never made it into a post -- soooo I thought I would share some now -- maybe a few every once in awhile. Hopefully you will enjoy them just as much as my friends did on Sunday night.

I have been MIA for the last 6 weeks or so -- but I hope to be back on track now. If you had your sound on when you accessed my blog today -- you probably heard a REAL professionally made jingle for my blog. My friend Robin -- formerly of JTV made it for me. He is a BIGTIME Radio DJ now in Sweden. I am both proud of him and of my jingle!
